About program

Art Workshop for Kids will be an Introduction program to 19th-century artists. The workshop will cover various concepts of Visual arts and provide them with an inspirational environment and encouragement to develop their creativity. During quarantine time, class activities with the materials which are usually available at home.

Demo Class content - 3rd July- Introducing and discussion on the topics covered in One-Month.

Examples of works will be shown, Insight into the classroom how the class will be conducted—clarification of all your queries and concerns regarding the course with the mentor.

What will be covered

  • The class will start with Opt Art/Optical Illusion, Op Art Short for Optical Art, is a style of visual art that uses Optical illusions. Artists use shapes, colours and patterns in special ways to create images that look as if they are moving or blurring. Second session will be Introduction to foreshortening and how to draw them, The principle of this technique is object that are closer to viewer appears bigger, object further away appears smaller. Third session will be Pop Art Keith - Haring, Pop art is a style were artist use bold, bright colours on images of everyday item.Fourth session will be Amograph, an agamograph is a series of images that change at different angles. Final session will be Bedroom in Arles, Van Gogh - Understand Proportion .
Learning outcome

In the first session Opt Art/ Optical Illusions students will learn Introduction to line, Optical art, Introduction to Opt Art Artist: Frank Stella and few example of artists opt art work. Through Introduction to foreshortening children will be learning Basics about Linear Perspective,they will be learning to drawing and create a foreshortened artwork with accurate proportion. Through this course they will learn how to draw various pop art and agamograph. Children will also learn Intro to Vincent Van Gogh, Create recopy work of his painting "Bedroom in Arles", in-depth with linear perspective
