About the course

Physical education marks as one of the most crucial components of learning, for children in their primary schooling years. Physical activities aid in amplifying self-confidence and holistic competency in children. Additionally, Children need to take part in physical activities as it plays an integral role in their cognitive development. This program aims to create a platform for children to indulge in an array of physical activities and exercises to boost their overall wellbeing. The program will comprise of interactive sessions where children will be encouraged and trained to cultivate their passion for various physical activities and sports.    

What will be covered

The program will comprise: 

  • Warm- up: Fun and physically intensive exercise routines that focus on team building and aids in preparation for the session.
  • Personal Challenges: Physical challenges that tests an individual’s skills in terms of coordination and repetitive action in a variety of sports.
  • Hand-Eye Coordination: Physical activity that tests the individual’s ability to interact with their environment. Improves response and reaction.
  • Dance/Aerobics: Physical activities to cultivate cardiovascular conditioning. 
  • Yoga: An amalgamation of physical, mental and spiritual practices that benefits both the body and mind.
  • Trainers Choice: Exercises based on the trainers observation of physical and training response from students.
  • Locomotor skills: Exercises to improve fundamental locomotor skills.
  • Motor skills: Exercises to improve natural movements in various sporting activities.
  • Nutrition: Lessons on nutrition by certified nutritionists on the process of obtaining and consuming healthy nutritious food.
  • Life skills: Lessons on essential life skills to enhance holistic development. 
  • Physical Fitness: Lessons on the importance of physical fitness and its pertinence in leading a healthy life.   
Learning outcome

Children will acquire knowledge about physical activities and their pertinence to lead a healthy life. They will learn exercises to build and strengthen their immunity. The program will also instill awareness about physical fitness and nutrition among parents and children to enhance their growth towards a healthy lifestyle. 

How to prepare
  • Parents to be present for kids' assistance.
  • This class experience is best using a laptop or desktop connected to Wifi.
  • Students are required to be in proper sports gear.
  • Materials required: Handkerchief, tennis ball or ball of any size and a Yoga mat.
